Nose: Oak, Vanilla, and Kettle Corn
Taste: Straight Forward Sweet Corn with a Hint of Oak
Finish: A Slow and Very Mild Burn for a Rye that Builds to a Smolder with only a Hint of Mint as a Final Note
Body: Medium to Light

Personality: Sacagawea

Impression: This is a very simple and easy to drink rye. The nose is far more complex than the taste.




Spanish Tortilla and Black Maple Hill Rye
Spanish tortilla- cut one head of cauliflower into florets. Slice one white onion pole to pole. Combine in a mixing bowl with 1/4 cup EVOO. Have 2 tbsp of EVOO in 10 inch skillet on medium high. Add the onions and cauliflower and reduce to medium heat. Cover with lid and cool for 22 min. In a mixing bowl whisk  8 eggs with salt and pepper and a half cup of chopped roasted peppers and a half cup of peas. After 22 minutes add the onions and cauliflower to the egg mixture and then return to the skillet on medium high heat for 30 sec with lid on the reduce the heat to medium for two minutes. Transfer skillet contents to a plate the. Use a two plate technique to flip over and put egg mixture back in skillet with no cover for 2 minutes. Let cool for 15 minute prior to eating (adapted from
