High West Campfire

Tasting Notes

92 Proof
Color: Copper
Nose: Smoke, Oak, Caramel, Almond, and Spice
Taste: Peat, Tobacco, and Smoke
Finish: Quick with a linger charcoal after taste
Body: Light
Personality: Mickey Rourke
Impression: The single malt component of this whiskey dominates the  olfactory and palatal experience. We see why they call it campfire, because there is an overwhelming charcoal component. This offering from High West is a very interesting experiment, but this hybrid does not quite conform to any of its base components.
