Color: Burnished
Nose: Oak, Spice, Almonds, Dark Cherries, Caramel, and Leather
Taste: Raisins and Dark Fruit, Floral, and Orange in the Midpalate with a hint of mint in the hind palate
Finish: A light rye burn that is not too overpowering
Body: Thin to Medium
Personality: Corey Haim
Impression: This is the best offering and our favorite from High West. A nice sweet rye with a unique citrus component. The initial rye burn on the finish is nice, but it dies to quickly for our taste. We would like to see the finish continue to roll to a crescendo rather than live fast and die young. This High West Double Rye makes an outstanding Manhattan.
