Peanut butter cookies: dry ingredients- whisk 1/2 tsp table salt, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 2.5 cups AP flour in mixing bowl. In stand mixer, cream 2 sticks of salted softened butter for two minutes with 1 cup dark brown and 1 cup granulated sugar. Add 1 cup JIF peanut butter, 2 whole eggs, 2 tsp vanilla, the flour mixture then 1 cup roasted and lightly salted peanuts. 2 tbsp scoop onto parchment lined baking sheets bake at 350 lower and middle racks for ten minutes let cool on wire rack...adapted season 1 ATK

Nose: Oak, Tobacco, Toffy, Apricot that hides in the background. The nose almost reminds us of a Fruitcake from Collin Street Baker in Corsicana, TX.
Taste: Oak, Tobacco, and a 100 Grand Candy Bar
Body: Medium
Finish: Silky Smooth and only a hint of Peppermint at the the very end.
Personality: Thomas Jefferson (duh!)
Impression: We think that this is a truly unique bourbon. Well worth the price point. We would like to see McLain & Kyne offer this bourbon in a different bottle to set it apart from their other offerings. This is a premier whiskey that is well balanced. When drinking, there is no recoil, you immediately dive back in for another pull.
