Taste: Oak, Tannic, and Dried Fruit

Impression: We find that the finish in the sherry cask is overwhelming. We do not think that this scotch whiskey deserved to be barreled in sherry cask. The Macallan 18 is a better scotch finished in sherry cask. We also think that the price point for this scotch is too high for the experience.
