Impression: We like Michter's whiskey. The bottle is aesthetically beautiful and the initial aroma is enticing. The problem is.....we were not overly impressed with this offering. On the palate it tasted like a lemon squeezed into a diet coke. We understand that it has been named the Best American Whiskey by Food and Wine Magazine and even had a glowing write up by the Wall Street Journal. Again, it is good, but we found that the price point did not match the gustatory experience and you may find yourself gravitating to other whiskeys.
