Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Smooth Ambler Spirits
Greenbrier County, West Virginia
Aged 10 years
119 Proof
Color: Auburn
Nose: Oak, Spice, Caramel, and Toasted Nuts
Taste: Raisins and Butterscotch throughout the entire palate with a doughy flavor running underneath.
Finish: There is a nice lingering cinnamon burn that sticks around for quite some time and we did notice the suggestion of mint in the very last part of the finish.
Body: Thick
Personality: Wilhuff Tarkin
Impression: Another great offering from Smooth Ambler Spirits. The nose on this whiskey is a classic bourbon and the taste is great. We found when we added some limestone branch water there is an element of black pepper that presents itself. The raisin/cardamom taste stays throughout the entire palate and blends seamlessly into the cinnamon finish.
