Yellowstone Whiskey

Tasting Notes

Limestone Branch Brewery

105 Proof

Blended Whiskey: 12 year rye, 7 year rye, and 7 year wheated Kentucky straight bourbon

Color: Pecan

Nose: Caramel, Oak, Baking Spices and Dates. There is a hint of cloves.

Taste: Oak, Vanilla, Leather, and Anise.

Finish: A very nice smoldering rye burn with a pleasing spearmint note at the end of the finish.

Body: Medium to Thick

Personality: Davey Crockett

Impression: This whiskey will not let you down. Limestone Branch has hit the target. The sweetness of the wheated whiskey marries nicely with the rye component. We particularly like how the taste develops from the sweetness at the tip of the tongue to the anise that coats the entire palate and then transitions nicely into a smoldering burn. It is a must have for any whiskey enthusiast.
